Money Management

I have been thinking about my salary, which is my money, day and night. Why? I afraid I cannot reach my goals, which is what I want. I think I have been of track from what I planned and using money what I describe as uncontrollable.

Although I don't even have a girlfriend but I had started to think that, marry needs a lot of money! I heard that, if you want a wedding dinner in hotel, the whole wedding package might cost RM20 000! This includes, rings, photograph, dinner, wedding gown and etc. Maybe this cost much for Chinese. If Malay might be simple and cheap.

I had come across with this ASNB which they said that if you start investing young and consistent, this is better than those bank because it gives more interest. I'm so agree with it!

After that, I go to this AKPK website. Why should I go to AKPK website? I'm not in dept?! Although I'm not in dept, but AKPK provides many tips for you to start saving now! I have a seminar by this AKPK agency in NS camp, which those who are not chosen don't know much about this AKPK.

I come across this thing...

What Can Money Do or Not Do?
While our culture says money is the answer to all our problems, we also hear that money is bad: Money is the root of all evil. Money corrupts! Let’s take a look at what can money do or not do:
“It can buy a house, but not a home.
It can buy a bed, but not sleep.
It can buy a clock, but not time.
It can buy you a book, but not knowledge.
It can buy you a position, but not respect.
It can buy you medicine, but not health.
It can buy you blood, but not life.”
So you see, Money isn’t everything!

This was so true.... What do you think? Try to save more now. Do login in to AKPK for more tips to save now...

Open House This Year...

I thought this year I would be totally missing out those Hari Raya Rumah Terbuka! Ifzuan did it on Saturday but too bad, Saturday also I got to work. And yesterday, Ikmal open house was my first open house for this year. (Not sure whether Saturday night I go to Ifzuan house and ate some fruit counted as the first?)

Who's Ikmal? It's not Kamil's brother Ikmal, it's our Form 5 new classmate Ikmal. He fetch us all the way from LRT Bandar Tasik Selatan to his house at Bandar Mahkota Cheras. From one Bandar to another Bandar take us around 35 minutes for the journey!

Ikmal was so good that he hired a Proton Saga taxi for us! LOL! Kidding! It's he who's actually driving us there. No offend Ikmal! His mother previously open a restaurant near our school and of course the food is SEDAAAAAAP! The bill is FOC! Haha... You can't get it anywhere. I know it guys, don't be jealous...

And then he ask us to hang out in his room. I was kinda afraid, why la have to go inside the room? Why cannot seat outside? LOL! Luckily there's whole bunch of guys with me. (He got record for badly behave!)
His room

His room. Simple and nice. Not sure how it will be in future but it's kinda a dream room for like everyone? Still full of new furniture smells. Haha

Finish eating, finish chatting so? Chow lo.... Fetch us there again. On the way there, raining... But it's better then living in a world like Owen!

Then eagerly wait for Kamil which he said he's going to fetch us to his house.

Arif meet us at LRT Sg Besi

Waiting...

Ask what's Kamil driving?

My English Communication Matters!

Haiz... As you know. I'm working now. Sometimes I would use english to communicate with the customer. And the worst is calling those bank staff. Yes, I have to do those calling too.

You might ask why do I have problem since I'm blogging using English got typing all that. As you know, typing or writing is different from speaking and reading. When I typing a post, I got the time to correct or restructure what I typed. But when you communicate with people, once you speak something wrong, they will know how good is your English. Sometimes, I even don't know what am I talking about. LOL!

And my colleague tell me that my English need to be improve. Yes! Of course! Previously I seldom speak English, or even not at all! But I think I'm quite brave to still try to speak English even my English is bad. Previously I just have to call those office staff, to ask something or convey my message from my boss. Then until one time, where my boss ask me to call the bank and clarify something.

I'm not sure the stuff and the name of product, then I have to ask something with my broken English. For sure the staff wondering, what kind of English is this! I do fell ashamed for my company because they might said this company lousy because the staff don't know how to speak proper English.

But previously I use to calling Hotlink for help or complain and I think I build up on communication confidence there. Hehe... So complain more! And you build up your skill.

Ya, I remember my standard 6 teacher where he said, his primary teacher ask them to learn English through singing or reading those lyrics. You listen to the singer how they pronounce and you try to follow them. Then I do the same thing and it's quite works. I still trying that thing up now.

Talk about my handphone. Can't wait until October comes! So, wake me up when September ends and I will have a great day onwards! I hope that I didn't choose the wrong phone and it serve me good. The phone? Secret....

The Purpose of A Dog

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.

Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ''I know why.''

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.

He said,''People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?'' The Six-year-old continued, ''Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long. ''Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

-When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. -Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. -Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
-Take naps. -Stretch before rising. -Run, romp, and play daily.
- Thrive on attention and let people touch you. - Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. - On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
- On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree. - When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. - Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
- Be loyal. - Never pretend to be something you're not. - If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
- When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at he entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights.
There is, however, a catch. .... You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the
sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 14,363,012 to this floor.
There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

HOW TO STOP PEOPLE FROM BUGGING YOU ABOUT GETTING MARRIED

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me,
"You're next."
They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Nice joke? Don't try this to your aunt k! It's rude!

Merdeka Farewell?

Since the National Day is a Public Holiday, and the day after is the day where Vincent will leave us and go to Mallaca to further his studies, we decided to declare that day is a special day for Vincent!

Vincent Last Merdeka Day
(Since he will be losing his independence)

Our mastermind, Kok Yang and wife, Mei Yean wanted to go to Pavillion at first. After my strong objection, and they change the venue for me, so that I will go for lunch too. LOL! We go to Jusco Cheras Selatan, a very rare venue for me. I use to go to Jusco Taman Maluri. My usual weekend hang out place.

Their plan? Lunch, movie, dinner and maybe supper! Imagine if you did that on Pavillion, I might have to wash the dish at the kitchen after the meal! (since it's end of the month, and my salary not yet out)

Guys

VS

Girls

For lunch, we go to this Japanese Ramen but I didn't order Ramen, but instead a set of fried rice. This set cost RM14. What do you think? Worth it? Nevermind. I seldom eat Japanese food.

It's quite full for me

Mei Yean also order the friend rice set, but I don't think this Marion is enough...

Sook foon! I know this is too much for you! Give me some la!

After that, there's a guy who saw his long lost GF. Yes GF!

This is a NO KIDDING! His GF. You talking about Girl Friend? Sorry...

After lunch, go into Jusco to shop for Vincent's stuff. Then buy some present to surprise someone. Hehe... It's a sale too!

Before go into the cinema to watch UP, go to Old Town to yam cha, After lunch then Yum cha already.

There's the couple! Sitting together... with the Chairman Of The Day

Like a pair? Not Andrew and me! Mind you!

After movie, feels like going out from Jusco for dinner. Since we have our own car, we head to Kaki Corner Taman Million.

Purple theme?

This is a nice pic, but someone missing in action...

All smiling...

Candid...

There it is. Take care... See you soon. On Raya I think? It's will be very soon... Luckily that day was quite well budget, but it still cost me much more than normal.

Good Luck for your studies!

That's the way we celebrate Merdeka Farewell!

Picture Of The Picture

I usually seen people drop their check in the Fast Cheque Deposit box but now, not that there's a Slow Cheque Deposit, LOL, but they have this Cheque Deposit Machine. You will need to key in your account no and amount. It don't need a cheque envelope like the Fast Cheque Deposit box does. After key in all those thing, just insert in and it will even scan an image of your cheque!

Picture of the picture

Yes, just got my August salary and this is my first time I insert my cheque into this Cheque Deposit Machine. I like the idea they scan the image of the cheque. Like very cute....
