The Penang Trip!

Why I pack the bag? That's because I'm going to Penang. I went to Penang, last Thursday and it's just one night, so the school bag is fit enough for me. It's like going back to school again!

It's 4 hour journey from here, KL. Besides that, we also visit 3 Ipoh shopping complex in just 3 hours time! LOL! It's a vacation and working trip for my brother. LOL! It's not 'Lawatan Sambil Belajar". It's "Lawatan Sambil Bekerja!" This is the picture I got in this 4 hours journey...

This picture won't fail anyone! It's Penang Island!

It's Bangkok Lane
(It's style like Bangkok, with mostly boutique here)

First 'Makan Stop'. Lunch time,

Mee Goreng Tomato

It's like Mee Rojak but this is with tomato and chillies. Nice. Quite a new different taste. Can't get this in KL!

This won't fail anybody also. It's taken along the Gurney Drive...
Tsunami? Not this place....
(I can see what your are thinking...)

Second Makan Stop. Evening tea time. It's the iconic Penang Char Kuey Teow!

My brother claim this is the best Char Kuey Teow stall in town!

This tiny little plate of Char Kuey Teow cost us RM6.50! OMG! But it's very taste! Can't eat this in KL!

In the shop is this, the biggest 'suction fan' that I ever saw.

Next stop, light Tea Time! LOL! Apong Guan!

What is Apong Guan? It's Apam in KL. Guan? It's the boss's name! What's so special until it makes the way to the newspaper? It's mostly egg, cocnut and just mix with little flour! Not like those conventional you got in KL. The egg taste is so strong! It's like eating a cake! This is cheap and nice! Just 30 cents per piece! It's a far different compare to the Char Kuey Teow just now.

Third Makan Stop. Dinner time. It's the so infamous Ecco Cafe.

Very little people will notice this cafe, even you're born in Penang. LOL! It serve Italian food/french, if not mistaken. It's all home made and natural ingredient!

The number of table is very limited. This make the cooked very concentrate on your meal!

It's Pasta!

Home made pizza!

The Desert. It's like Tiramitsu but not that, hard taste.
(Correct me if I'm wrong. Can't get the right words to describe)

Should I tell you there's supper?! Oh........ That's the life in Penang, FOOD PARADISE!

Fourth Makan Stop of the day...

You thought this is wrong picture?

No. This is not the wrong picture to describe the situation. LOL! It's 10.30pm! Is it the people in Penang always eat supper? NO! It's this stall that tempt the surrounding people to queue at the stall for it's Nasi Kandar! Mind you, why don't the people come in the morning, lunch or dinner?

This stall only open on 10pm! You might saw this Stall Plaque wrote 'Beratur'. It's not asking the guess to queue and eat! It got it's name from the large crowd that queue to it's Nasi Kandar!

You can't get this food and the whole surrounding environment for this in KL!

Beratur la engkau untuk makan!

I got the picture of the nasi. It's nothing special about the look. But it's taste! I just remember to snap a pic of it when eating half way. You might feel disgusted if I show you the pic. LOL! It's just too tasty. What can I say?

The next morning. Eat Kuey Teow Teng. It's Fish Ball mee in Hokkien. It's quite tasty and yesterday eat too much, so I forgot to snap the pic for this.

This is no famous eating place. But it sells the tastiest biscuit in Penang! This is the one and only stall they got in Penang. Behind the stall itself is bakery factory. So it's sure fresh!

You can guess by the number of visitor coming non stop to this shop! I have to wait like 45 minutes the get the Beh Teh Saw? It's the chinese 'Hiang Ping'. When I arrive, they sold out. So I have to wait for 45 minutes. No choice! I can't miss this in Penang!

Not this miss this famous Penang, Tambun Biscuit.
(Not in the Him Heang Shop)

All this temple is quite like the one located in Petaling Street.... Very heavy crafted motif.

For lunch, we actually wanted to eat this Nasi Tomato. Not Mee Tomato. But due to last Friday is Hari Raya Korban, this shop closed.

So went to this Indian Banana leave stall.

Looking good here!

The stall is very small only, just have like 10 tables in this stall. But you can tell this is very original by the way the worker dress up! Didn't take the pic but some of them wear cheiter....

Like went to India already... It's very heavy with the herbs taste. You can get almost like this taste a Nirvana Restaurant, opposite Bangsar Shopping village. Very famous for this also.....

You can get this in KL! No jokes.... LOL!

After eating so many spicy food,we should balance up with this!

Coconut Water!

The coconut just ordinary. Not that good. But it's worth to visit this stall the see his chopping skills! Just 3 cut and you can taste the water! It's using Sabit compare to those stall in KL, using Parang, Quite weird..... But this man's skills is too good to be believe!

Because of my picture snapped here not that nice, so I replace with this that I snapped!

Coconut King at Lebuh King!

That's the end of my Penang Trip! I'm busy eating and not busy visiting. LOL! For sure I'll be coming back to Penang, soooooooooon.

The best I would rate now is the Nasi Kandar Beratur! You have to taste it to believe it!

Btw, I also promise to post some pic from my new hp. So I keep my promises! The above picture is all taken from my camera HP! More to come!

*Warning! The above picture might looks better than the real life due to my shooting skills and my newest camera quality!

This might probably surprise you because you might ask "When did I married and got a wife!"

The wife I mean is the must anticipated handphone that I wanted to change, so~~~~~~~~ MUCH! Not that I hate my old wife, but it's time for her to get retired after serving me for 4 years! I can say 'Well Done!' to her because until now, I haven't send in for repair nor replace a new battery. Maybe it's the way I love it that she repays me!

Let's talk about my NEW WIFE! Got it on Sunday from my friend. Still exploring it and it's actually put me into shame! I'm like an uncle using a hi-tech phone! I felt like I'm so old to know how the features work! I even ask my collogue who's an aunty to teach me to do this and that! LOL!

Even an aunty is better than me! I can feel how it was like next time when you're old, asking how this and that work from the grandchild or those young one.

The is the second time I bought such an expensive thing! The first one is a semi digital watch which cost me few hundred bucks and now thousand something! I work for 4 months plus only I manage to buy this! LOL! But after buying this, the past 4 months was worth it! There's still more things I plan to buy, but might be until next year....

Let's see my new wife for now!

BM vs BI

Why Malaysian Government insists on using English for math and science?

*Caution(18SX)

This is because the whole world uses the language as an information and/or technology language. How dangerous it will be if we try to use Bahasa, especially in school. See example below:-

Hardware = barangkeras Software = baranglembut Joystick = batang gembira Plug and Play = cucuk dan main Port = lubang Server = pelayan Client = pelanggan

Try to translate this:

ENGLISH: That server gives a plug and play service to the client using either hardware or software joystick. The joystick goes into the port of the client.

Now in BAHASA:

Pelayan itu memberi pelanggannya layanan cucuk dan main dengan menggunakan batang gembira jenis keras atau lembut. Batang gembira itu akan dimasukkan ke dalam lubang pelanggan..

Now you know...WHY...

Rainy Season

It's been raining this few days. We planned almost ruin by it. When it's a very sunny day, we ask " Why la so hot and not raining?". When it's raining like this everyday we ask "Why la everyday raining and no sunshine?". No. You're not the abnormal one. We're the same because we're the human.

Last Sunday, at 4.30pm, I sms my friend to go jogging. Then I said, it's very, sunny, let's wait until 5.00pm. Then when 5.00pm, it's like the the sky allow me to go jogging! It change 360 degree! From heavy sunshine to as dark as 7pm! Then we still continue our plan and reach there at 5.15pm. Wait until 5.30pm and it's like raining droplet. So we walk around the Tasik Permaisuri. Without realising, it's raining heavily again at 6.30pm! Then we head home.

On Monday when I came back from work, lazy to use the umbrella, but also I forget to put the umbrella back to the car after using it on Sunday. So just walk to the house. Then later that night, got sick! OMG!

Wake up on Tuesday, I feel like I got backache, so weak and sleepy. On the night, try this formula, I squeeze 2 oranges, warm it and mix with 2 tablespoon of coconut oil. Drink it. Go to bed. After 1 hour of rest, felt a lot better! It's work like magic!

You might wondering what is this coconut oil. Never heard of it? If you interested, you might ask me. It's something new and natural medicine which is very good and it has a lot of benefit.

You might heard that Fish Oil is the best. No doubt it's the best. What comes next? Coconut oil. How about Olive oil? It comes Third. Olive oil cannot be heated, if not it will be denature. But it's different story for Coconut oil. No matter how you heat the Coconut oil, it will not denature.

Ok that's it! Hope you guys healthy always and not like me, especially those of you who got exam. Take care!

Education Standard In Malaysia

I read this from my blogger-mate. This might answer your question how they set the mark for your exam. This is just a rumour and might not be true. But can be said as reference....

Happy Reading!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The objective of STPM is to pass people right? How do you explain the fact that 87% of the students passed the exams of the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) recently, when during your father’s time only 10% would have passed? Are students getting smarter? Or are STPM questions getting easier? Let me put things in their proper perspective.

During your grandfather’s time, they would ask exam questions like:

"In what year did Parameswara founded the Kingdom of Melaka ?"

The correct answer was "1402", and they found that only 10% of the students managed to answer the question correctly. This didn’t go down too well with the authorities, because the objective of the exams was to pass people, right? I mean, what’s the point of having exams if people fail?

So later, they found another way to ask the same question:
Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka in the year:
(a) 2001
(b) 2004
(c) 1986
(d) 1975
(e) 1402
Tick the correct answer.

The results were better in that 20% of the students passed. But it was still not good enough, so the authorities tried a different tactic a few years later.

"Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka in the year 1402. True or false?"

Well, half of the students guessed "True" and the other half guessed "False".

50% passed.

The results were getting pretty acceptable by now but still not good enough. Most other countries would be satisfied with a 50% passing rate, but not us. The authorities then cracked their heads and then came out with this one:

Read the following sentence carefully.

Parameswara, the cousin of Proton-Iswara, founded the kingdom of Melaka in the year 1402. Underline the name of the person who founded Melaka.

60% underlined "Parameswara",
30% underlined "Proton-Iswara" and
10% underlined "1402".

Yeah!!!!….60% managed to pass!

But the authorities were still not contented. So last year, they came out with this gem:
"One day in the year 1402, Parameswara founded the kingdom of Melaka. Then he went home to have dinner. What did he eat?"

13% (smart students) handed in blank answers,
57% wrote "Maggi Mee",
10% wrote " Kentucky Fried Chicken" and
20% wrote "Nasi Lemak".

The correct answer was anything concerning "Food" of course!

After the marking was over, it was found that 87% of the students had passed.

87%!!!!!…………now that’s pretty impressive!

Well done Malaysia! Perhaps, this is why we have so many students with an impressive string of ‘As’ who can hardly construct a decent sentence! Malaysia Boleh!

Poem... For a laugh

A Woman’s poem

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man who’s not a creep,
one who’s handsome,
smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
one who thinks before he speaks,
one who’ll call,
not wait for weeks.
I pray he’s rich and self-employed,
and when I spend, won’t get annoyed.
Pull out my chair, and hold my hand,
massage my feet, and help me stand.

A man’s poem

I pray for a deaf mute, gymnast, nymphomaniac,
with big t!ts.
Owns a pub on a golf course, and loves it in the ar$e.
This doesnt even rhyme, but who gives a f$%
